The grey river

 

The grey river is a river that my town uses as a runway for the fishing boats and white batting and with the river it is cool because the town is named after it and the prison that was the founder of Greymouth died from a murder. One time one of the boats sunk and the captain sank because he had a big cotin clothes on and that dragged him down and there is now a statue of him in town. The population of Greymouth is 9 800 and that is a lot of people.

The grey river can be rough at times. The grey is used for white batting and fishing to and a runway for boats. The grey river was used for container ships in the 19s and that was why there were cranes at the doc but now they have moved them and now they are getting them repaired and they are going to get put back. The river is a fun place because you can go on your jet ski and go out on the lookout and go white batting and fishing if you have a boat. The river is very special to the town because the town is named after the river and  that is cool because I think we are the town that is named after a river in this region.

The river is super important because you need it for fishing and finishing business gives us money. And the good thing is people can get money from the whitebait and sell it to companies and pubs. Thank you for reading this.
